Our office delivered supplies and monetary donations to both Kent Animal Shelter and Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach Program.
Each year our office collects new, unwrapped toys to donate to the local Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. We encourage our staff, business associates and clients to contribute to this worthwhile cause and send a message to America’s less fortunate children.
For several years Lupton & Luce has hosted a Trike-A-Thon to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We invite the children and grandchildren of our employees and clients to participate in the worthwhile event. We bring a fire truck and ambulance to the event for the children to explore as well as a craft table for them to create cards for the children at St. Jude Children’s Hospital. We end the day with refreshments and prizes.
During the holidays we collected donations for the cats and dogs at the Kent Animal Shelter. We also sponsored a dog named Blue who has been at the shelter for quite some time.
We have enjoyed participating in the Long Island Cares food drive. Founded by the late Harry Chapin, Long Island Cares brings together all available resources for the benefit of the hungry and food insecure on Long Island.
Each fall the staff purchases t-shirts to support the Long Island Veterans through the United Way – Mission United program.
It has been our pleasure to take part in the Merchants Insurance Company annual coat drive to benefit Long Island families in need.
